I have moved
It's official! I have moved at www.clips-n-cuts.com !!
This blog will continue to exist just to let people know were to go for new content. The whole content of this blog together with users' comments has been moved to the new location.
Moving from blogspot to my own domain gave me the opportunity to be more flexible. It's also easier for you to download the free templates I'll be posting since you get them directly instead of using third party sites such as rapidshare, torrents etc.
So please visit my new site! I am editing the new video and I guess it will be ready to post in a few hours together with the template!
And don't forget to subscribe to the new feed over there!
Thank you!

Random stuff
Just some random stuff today...
I have finished recording and editing the video for the coming weekend. I love to make videos and read your comments!!!!
I am also gonna give a free template for you to download and cut with your scissors (pdf version) or let your digital cutter do the work (.dxf version)
So stay tuned!
I am also quite busy trying to move my blogspot over to wordpress and in my own domain name, more on this in a couple of days!
Finally I have been waiting my new order of Hero Arts stamps, BasicGrey paper pads, adhesives and other goodies for ever! Where is the mailman?!?!?! I'll make a post with photos of my new supplies as soon as they arrive.

ATC Swap
I have finally finished and send my 10 ATCs for "The Hero Arts Friendship ATC swap"!
It took me hours to decide the final design but here is a sneak peak of what i've done...
I don't want to spoil the surprise so I'll post mine together with the ATCs I'll receive from the other girls at the European group. I can't wait!

Making a booklet
Don't you just love this instruction video by Kristina Werner on how to make your own sketchbook?
But what happens if you don't have this stapler or the one you have does not open to use it on top of a pillow?
Well here is a video I've made for you! Hope I've helped
Excuse my bad lighting, I'll make sure to fix that for the next recording.

A tall card!
Todays card is a really tall one!
I've made it to take part at this week's challenge at Caardvarks
The sentiment and the rocket are stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. All the other white details are made with the gel pen (LOVE IT!!). I have used a circle punch to make the planets and I distressed their edges a bit. The planets and the rocket are glued with 3d foam adhesive to pop up!

I love Christmas
Here is a card telling you why I love Christmas so much!
Christmas decoration and gifts! What more can you ask?
Making the card was really fun, I just made 3 triangles out of a green paper which I distressed using my scissors and I also used some distress ink by Tim Holtz on the edges. I have glued the triangles the one on top of the other. I used 3d foam glue only on the bottom of the triangles to make them pop.
The gifts are just squares of designer paper wrapped in ribbon. Some faux stitching using my white gel pen and we are ready!
Materials
Love That Sparkle Clear Stamps (Hero Arts)
K and Company - Brenda Walton Collection - Small Wonders Boy
Red & Green Gem Stones (Hero Arts)
If you like it just leave me a comment! Thanks girls!

Hero Arts ATC Swap
I have decided on the design of the ATC I am creating for the European ATC swap.
It's so cute!
But I have to make 10 of them and I only got the time to make 4... the weekend is coming so I'll catch up ...
Should I post a sneak peek? No I don't want to ruin the surprise!

My new sketchbook and a notebook!
Following Kristina's idea and instructions here is what I came up with
A fun sketchbook where I keep my ideas, I tend to take it with me in my bag all the time so I can quickly sketch whatever comes to mind and it's already half full!
They say "an elephant never forgets" so here is my notebook where I write my TO DO list. This one instead of frames to draw it has just lines to write, as simple as that ... but always in my bag and very useful.
Love them both! Thanks Kristina!
As I've told you a couple of post ago I am in the process of creating a template and make another one based on the same instructions but for another use... I'll let you know when I am done and share the template as well.

ATC Swap on HeroArts blog!
I have signed in for the Hero Arts ATC swap! I am so excited!
I am currently experimenting with the ATCs I am gonna make and by mid November hopefully I'll post 10 ATCs... the 9 I'll receive from the other girls of my group and one I'll design!
You can read more about it here.
In the meanwhile I am also working on a project based on this one by Kristina Werner.
Hopefully I'll give away free .pdf or .doc files for the inside sheets as well as a video on how it looks like! It's gonna be a booklet but I am not currently revealing the purpose of it!
Thank you Kristina for the inspiration!
And I have to start creating scrapbook pages again... all these great summer photos are still waiting...

Photocard
Here is a photo card for my daughter I've made for participating to this weeks Hero Arts challenge here.
I have actually created a frame using my border punch and i glued some stamped and embossed images on the frame.
Stamps used: Hero Arts Clear Sparkle "Mushrooms" , CL306
The coloring of the stamps was done by using distressing Tim Holtz ink and a foam blending tool. I have also used foam dimensionals for a 3d effect.
Here are a couple of more detailed photos.

A cherry hello!
There are some days that I can make three or four cards in a row and I like them all....
Well today was NOT one of these days.... no inspiration at all...
So here is what I finally did after hours of cutting and clipping and coloring and throwing away projects....
It is going to take part in a couple of challenges here and here
The card is made by using the "Designer fruit" stamp set by Hero Arts ( CL320)
I have stamped the front of the card using Versa Mark and I embossed using clear embossing powder. The cherries are painted using Tim Holtz distressing inks and I have also used a circle punch and brown silk ribbon from my stash.
